Corporate executives are not looking for staffers who perform. They are looking for staffers who excel – who do more than fulfill a requirement. Just "performing" is the minimum requirement.

Progressive companies are recognizing that their people are their most precious resource.

To find, train and retain dedicated and talented employees is priority #1.

The other priorities – profitability, innovation, growth – follow naturally when the right people are in the right position and the leaders know how to lead effectively.

Performance Strategies, Inc. breaks down corporate challenges into three components:

  1. Identifying difficulties in the business – conflicts between people, low morale, missed deadlines, the silo mentality – and defining a process to success.
  2. Hiring, training, managing and retaining the talent that’s right for the business.  Encouraging strong leaders and employee alignment.
  3. Changing the outcome – understanding the root cause and arresting the downward motion through coaching or training aimed directly at the problem behaviors.

Behavioral research suggests that the most effective people are those who understand themselves, both their strengths and weaknesses, so they can develop strategies to meet the demands of their environment.

A person's behavior is a necessary and integral part of who they are. In other words, much of our behavior comes from "nature" (inherent), and much comes from "nurture" (our upbringing). It is the universal language of "how we act," or our observable human behavior.

We measure four dimensions of normal behavior. They are:

• how you respond to problems and challenges
• how you influence others to your point of view
• how you respond to the pace of the environment
• how you respond to rules and procedures set by others

Our reports analyze behavioral styles, that is, a person’s manner of doing things. In addition, we examine motivators, internal and external thinking processes as well as 82 core attributes. This analysis gives you a more complete picture of each individual. In other words we can tell you how an individual behaves, why he/she behaves the way they do and if he/she will behave the way the job requires.
